If the brand promise is simply a catch phrase and is not bought into by all employees from the top down it will never translate to the end use customer. The brand promise must become part of the corporate culture to be effective. This could possibly be the most difficult sales task of all but well worth the effort.

They say adversity does not build character it uncovers character. In today's challenging economy keeping your brand promise is a true measure of a company's character.

I believe that delivering on a company promise is the greatest thing a company can do, not only for the customers but the employees. having a clear direction on what you are trying to deliver to the customer helps create a clear line for the employee and customer on what to expect from the company. In turn it makes it much easier for the employee to deliver on that promise but only if it's a belief at the core of the company.

Great blog I hope companies take heed and run their business like this!
